Gorman & Jones, PLC Obtains 1.3 Million Dollar Judgment

(Phoenix – March 2012) – Attorney Andrew P. Gorman and the litigation team of Gorman & Jones, PLC obtained a $1.3 million dollar judgment on behalf of a client in a dispute concerning the financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult under Arizona Revised Statute §46-456.  The case arose when the Client of Gorman & Jones discovered that a sibling of his had caused certain assets belonging to the elderly parents to be conveyed to solely to her.  The sibling alleged that the parents were of sound mind and that the parents willfully and intentionally conveyed their assets to her.  The evidence presented by Andrew P. Gorman and the litigation team of Gorman & Jones, PLC during trial showed otherwise and after a three day trial before the Honorable Jose Padilla, the Court ruled in favor of Gorman & Jones, PLC Client and awarded double damages pursuant to the authority granted under the statute
